Just changed warmup regulator (control pressure regulator) in the 1990
200TQA, $270.
Make sure the fuel pump check valve is holding pressure and the pressure
regulator plunger is working correctly.
http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/ficis.html#fuelp has some really helpful
info, and he sells the plunger kit.
I replaced the warmup regulator after checking (and fixing) many other
parts in the fuel system. I was getting really high fuel pressures
(75PSI+) during cold pressure test, and would climb to 93PSI hot. With
the new control pressure regulator the pressure was back down to a normal
levels and all is well again.
These things rarely go bad, might be worth double checking other probable
causes first.
