There recently was post about the WR's and the NRW's
I have owned both, had a set of NRW's on my old 4kq
loved them, used them year round, I lived in vermont
back then, so busting around on dirt roads in spring
and summer was a blast.
I now have a set on my A6, live in boston area still
love them, they are great in slush, rain and fluffy
snow, okay in hard pack and ice. Cornering on dry they
are okay, aren't too mushy. Dry highway driving very
quiet for this type of tire and tread. The WR's are a
little quieter than the NRW's I had on my 4kq. Nokian
makes a 150mph speed rated as well as the usual 130mph
H rated, which is a lower profile. From what I hear
gives better cornering and dry pavement handling.
I also had a set on my A4Q but traded that in for an
A6. I am going to use these(WR's) year round....we'll
see how they hold up.
I also had a set do D60A2's on my A4 a while back,
didn't like the tire one bit, any inclement weather
and the tire was all over the place.
So now leads me to a little plug.
I have full set for sale of WR's with approx 500mi
miles on them. Mounted on stock URQ rims. 195/60/R15 I
had them on my A4Q. I also have a full spare same rim,
with a 185/65/R15 hakka 1 mounted on it, with about
30% tread left. If anybody is interested email me off
line for specifics. I live just north of boston.
Thanks
Joel
