Matt - this is exactly what happened on my 1983 5000 Turbo Sedan. Before I
had to stop working on it, I was just about ready to test the temperature
sensor, as I was told that it would cause an extra rich condition, if the
ECU thought that the engine coolant temp was cold (such as it is on start
up, which is when it is supposed to be a rich mixture). With many things
having forced a changed schedule, I have never been able to get back to
working on the car yet. I did check all the injectors, and the fuel
distributor. At the time I had the problem, the weather was warm, (but in
your case, I would check for any icing as suggested also, if it is very
cold where you are). I do not have a lot of knowledge about my car (I do
have the Bentley), so anything you find out sure would be helpful.
