Misfiring 85 4kq...wtf!

I bought this car in December and it ran like a bat out of hell... well unt=
il two days ago.  On the way to work yesterday it began to lightly hesitate=
, throught out the range, especially under hard acceleration,and shift poin=
ts. On the way home, holy ^%$&,  25 miles later I must have gone through a =
quarter tank of gas, it would barely idel, acceleration was asking to much,=
 had to e-brake to every red light and rev the motor at 3000 to even think =
about getting the car moving from a dead stop. The engine ran like it was a=
 3 cylinder not 5.
Details. 110K, fuel filter, pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor replaced within =
last 2,000 miles.  Exhaust spewing god knows what kind of black crap, plugs=
 carboned beyond belief (no wonder it won't run), vac hoses look to be fine=
, oil is clean, antifreeze is proper and not leaking (the car sat out side =
for the last two weeks in -10 - +20 temps without being driven).  Could the=
 cold temp have frozen a switch or sensor?  The car seemed to get to temp s=
o I am at a loss as to what the heck is going on.. Thoughts greatly appreci=
ated..
