5000 Turbo Quattro Fuel Pump

Having BTDT on the replacement, while it is not a big PITA, it is not
something I would relish doing again so if the car is a keeper, you should
probably go with a new pump, to ensure not having to do it again soon.

I did put a used pump in my 84 5kt just to try and get it running to confirm
operation before parting out. That was bad enough.
