4KQ Slave cylinder questions

There's a fun job! I swapped it out of my old 4kq with
some unusual tools. To drive out the pin you'll need a
3/16" punch, a socket to hold the punch, a couple feet
worth of socket extensions and your BFH. Pass the
drift and extensions through a hole in the passenger
side wheel well and hammer away.
When the pin is out of the way, the slave might slide
out (straight back), or it might be stuck like mine. I
used an air hammer against a metal protrusion on the
drivers side to push it out. You might be able to get
a pipe in there to hammer it, but there isn't much
room to swing a hammer down there.
My new cylinder went it relatively easily.
While you've got the line disconnected, check out the
clutch master too. Both of my cylinders had sticky
spots in my car.
