NAC: good source for random materials..

Hey all,

Just thought i'd pass on a recently discoverd source for all KINDS of random
usefull stuff. www.materialscraps.com - they are a recycler of sorts of
unused building materials and industrial supply type stuff.

I wanted some closed cell foam neoprene to use as sound insulation in my
AUDI [there it is.. =] as ive had GREAT results in past car audio projectts
when you sandwich it between the rear seat and package shelf under the rear
window. It cuts down that back of the car 'rumble' from the trunk quite a
bit. as well as squeaking seatback and rattling package shelf.

searching around with google the best price i found from new suppliers was
about 60$ a yard [x44"] - i stumbled upon these guys online, emailed them,
and they have it for less than $10/yd, and they had several different
durometers to choose from. They offered to and sent me samples of each type,
and responded to all of my requests within the same day. EXCELLENT service.

NO affiliation at all - just very impressed + hoped someone else would find
it useful. i'm also ALL too happy to plug a business with a clever model and
positive environmental impact.
