solution to Nigerian scam problem

Dave and Others,
I would HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT DO THIS.
IT is not worth messing with these guys. Banks do not look
favoribly on it and simply having a fraudulent cashiers check
deposited into your account will initiate a fraud investigation
for BOTH Parties. That means ;you will be part of a Federal
Criminal Investigation by the US Secret Service. The secret
service is not only in charge of protection of the President but
protection of the US Currency.
Additionally, once this happens you will likely be listed in a
database and banned from that bank.
Can they do that?!?! You ask. In a round about sort of way,
YES. Banks use a service to track Non Sufficient Funds
activites, delinquent acconts, etc. They can not register you
in this if you were an innocent party. However, a bank can
refuse to do business with a person if they deem that it is
dangerous or risky to do so. It has been shown that once a
person engages with these "nigerian scams" that they will not
leave you alone. That increases the chance that some day you
may fall victim to a scam and not even realize it. Maybe not
intentionally, but that doesn't matter, it still hurts your
pocketbook and the Banks Bottom Line.
Best to simply not engage them at all. If you want to send
them pics of your Dogs Anus, thats your choice, but i would
change the return address on your Email and your name field,
etc, to make it difficult for them to see where the E-mail came
from. I would highly recommend you not engage in any behavior
beyond that.
Thanks for Listening
