It strikes me as incredibly odd that they *aren't* doing something about
the sellers on ebay.

I operate a one man business, and I still do regular searches on ebay
auctions with certain key words to make sure people aren't using direct
quotes from my site in their ads (without giving credit, anyway).  One
guy.  It's not hard.

AoA and VAG (and lexcomm?) can't be bothered to look on ebay for people
selling outright stolen copyrighted material?  They even support the ads
with screen shots!  It would take one simple email per ad to shut them
down, I would think - I'm sure those people don't want to get to the
"nasty letters from lawyers" stage.

That I just don't understand.
