1. why not buy a new pump?  I have put two in my cars, for $100 each
from FLAPS, with lifetime warranty.  They work...

2. you should, I suspect, measure your fuel delivery/flow under the
hood, after all the fuel supply system bits, to see if it is a fuel
deliv. problem at all.  Is there a spec for this in a Bentley somewhere?
