If you were really set on frozen oil particles, I'd guess that long
cylinders would be the most effecient.

However, what about making an attachment for your gear lube pump? One
that would seal around the drain hole. You could pump your gear lube in
(have to measure before hand), then do a quick maneuver to remove the
sealed nozel and either replace with your finger, or the drain plug
directly. I'm sure you'd drop a full tablespoon, but you could probably
over fill some.

For me, my Audi isn't my daily driver, so I'd just see it as an excuse
to pull the rear sub frame and rebuild. And of course, if you're going
to do that, you'd probably better get some rebuild axles, re-do the
center support bearing.....and if you're going to go that far, why not a
T3/T04 turbo and the 034 EFI system?

As you can see, any excuse to fix my audi usually results in far more
extensive repairs than planned. :o)
