CGT flex pipe followup

So, I go back to the exhaust shop for the third time. The first time they fix a leaking downpipe/cat joint by cutting it out and welding in solid pipe. The second time they put in a braided flex joint that whistled. The third time, they hand-built a new donut-style spring loaded flange.

Now my car is quiet again. I didn't get to keep the flex joint, and I no longer have a stock downpipe/cat interface, but it flexes as it should and doesn't leak. I was only charged the original $30 or whatever it was for the first "fix".

Thanks for the input and comments.

Ken
