Does anyone possess such a thing?
Awhile ago I posted about a warm/hot start problem. The car always
starts fine when cold, in fact the colder the better.
I measured the ISV temp sensor and the values matched exactly what SJM
said they should be.
It seemed to me that the car did not have the classic fast idle (an
early 1200 rpm dropping to 750 after 30 seconds or so), except when cold
(below 50F). I put a 1.5 kohm resistor between the sensor and the ISV
control. The car fires right up fast idles briefly then settles down to
a normal idle hot or cold.
I'm not sure why the idle speed drops at all since the resistor is a
fixed value. Any thoughts?
