I'd also be interested in this, as people do seem to be randomly burning copies of proprietary chips
and on-selling them...
Bought one for my 944 and copied out code to find that the eeprom had a commercial manufacturer name
in the comment field.

Now I would be interested in finding any info on the structure of these so I can have a bit of a
play with some of the parameters.

I have a stock and performance chip for my S2, so I have been able to compare for differences, but
still need more info before I can play with it...
