90q clicking rearend

wow, slow day on the list.. must be a whole lotta good running audi's out
there. =)
[there i said it, now were all screwed]

before i put the car up tonight and listen for the noise it's making i
thought i would ask if anyone had any tips for checking the driveshaft
u-joints [my current suspect].

im getting a clicking when i accellerate or decelerate in gear [noise goes
away when i disengage clutch] coming from the rear [sounds like]. turning
has no effect.
