why I drive an old Audi and not a new Kia

Holy Cow! I had the 'opportunity' to go for a drive in a colleagues new Kia
Sorrento today. I strongly suspected that Kias were cheaply built, but it
becomes really clear when you first grab the door handle. These guys could
have taken a lesson from Audi's Team Doorhandle. It's hard to explain, but
the doorhandles pivot outward and have the look and feel of chromed plastic
- very light and very flimsy. There's a noticeable up/down wobble as it
comes out.
I know our older Audi's have a tendency to break door handles, but these
Kia's feel like the first time you go to open it with the door locked, it's
going to snap right off.
Close the door and the inner door panel visibly vibrates, although I have to
admit the fit and finish appears pretty good. I just don't think the
durability will be there.
The ride is horrendous, you can feel every crack and bump in the road.
Ahhh. It'll be nice to drive home in my 17 year old Audi, that is really
very well sorted out now.
