why I drive an old Audi and not a new Kia

<<I had similar with a brand new Peugeot 206 the other day, needed a

car so they gave me it with only 100 on the clock. What a heap of rubbish
it was,>>

To this day the best car I've ever owned (including the 3 Audis) was my 87
Peugot 505STX. I putjust under 300K on it WITH an auto trans and it was
problem-free compared to my A5KTQs (which I love dearly, btw). I had to do
the regular easy stuff, like a new rack at around 200k, I think I went
through (2) alternators, an a/c clutch, etc. but it didn't exhibit the
race-against-entropy that the Audis do.

If parts were still easy to get, I'd be driving one of those instead of a
5000, as much as it pains me to admit it. Very similar feel to the 5KTQ,
but IIRC I think it was even a little faster in stock form.

Please don't get me wrong here, I _love_ my Audis, but that was a great car.
