of course.. i will be taunted, insulted, dumbfounded and even a little
bloodied about the knuckles by my audi. but i draw the line at squished.

i learned this once the hard way working under my 1st car - a bright yellow
74 camaro with black racing stripes [yes, i once rocked the mullet..]. it
was jacked [probably on the oil pan] and i had cinder blocks positioned
under the subframe rails, with about and inch of space, to catch it JUST
INCASE. I actually remember thinking, 'yeah, that will catch it if it
falls'.

Well, 'just incase' did in fact, case. the jack gave, car dropped, and the
blocks caught it, but theyre not so tall those cinderblocks. i was nicely
pinned under the car till dad came home from work some 2 hours later. yea,
that was NO fun. I think i still have bruises. Almost got me a darwin award
on that one.

Now i wear safety glasses opening champagne bottles.
