Procon 10 retainer removal

Hi listers,
I am routing new low pressure A/C hose through water drain opening
because routing through destined hole is PITA as it requires air box
removal.  The hose does not go through unless I move procan 10 right
retainer  5 inches aside.
So,  I need to unscrew 2 M12 bolts: one from top and one behind cables
where they fixed in the retainer.
Do  I have to  remove one cable from the retainer to get better access
to the bolt?
Is it possible that when I move retainer  the cable will retract I will
not be able to fix retainer back?
Any advise will be appreciated?
