Tach problem on 80q Turbo Conversion

Yeah, I just ran into the same thing the other day after I wired up the
new 034 stageIIb ecu, I hadn't bothered to hook up the tach sensor and a
couple secs after firing up the engine my autocheck oil problem indicator
was going off!? Odd, but upon reconnecting said blue/green wire all is
good again, tach works, no funky oil warnings, me=happy. I had never run
the car before with the tach signal disconnected, I knew it ran to the
autocheck, but I didn't think that a missing tach signal triggered an oil
warning... oh well, team doorhandle strikes again ;)
