new face for Audis

I don't have a gripe with the body styling, I like the edging and the slightly elongated TT look. It's the gaping MAW on the front that repells me. I bet they'll be great aftermarket business selling fix-a-front kits ;)

It just seems like the homage to past cars is fine in a show car but not on the street where it really looks silly.

Check the new Automobile mag for more photos of the "real" Nuvolari...

It seems more an extreme attempt to make a "statement" in styling than an well thought out attempt at styling.

But, what does my opinion matter, I'm not buying one ;)

Also, if I like a new car design the first time I see it, I consider it a bad sign - a car designt should push you in your norm of what is good and ugly, if its not somewhat controversial or misunderstood it won't stand the test of time.
