If you want to send it my way, I can host it so people can see it

I have a scanned copy of the article in Import Car, a trade magazine. If
someone will host it, I'll forward it right away, otherwise I can send it to
anyone who wants it. It cites the relevant VW tech bulletin.
I don't mean to cast doubts on anyone's soldering ability, and I've seen
followup posts indicating there are some VERY skillful solderers among us,
but crimping is the technique of choice here. I do it because it's
effective, cheap, FAR less time consuming, and reduces the potential for
stress induced breakage. It also appears to provide better conductivity,
something I've also read elsewhere (including, AIR, in a post on this
list). FAA certified aircraft electrical experts will back me up on this.
John
