I figure that little bugger cost me something north of $75K (so far).

The fuse failed on my wife's 1990 200T and took out the radiator and head
(wife was driving, didn't shut it down quickly enough).

We had the car fixed and then replaced it with a 1996 A6 quattro avant.

I drove the avant, decided my Range Rover had to go, sold it and bought
myself a '95.5 S6 avant.

Between the cost of the repairs, the two Audis, the realized depreciation on
the Range Rover and the unending demands for upgrades by my S6, I figure
that $2 fuse will end up costing me somewhere between $75K and $100K.

So unless you're in the mood for some major expenses <grin>, replace that
fuse prophylactically.
