Audi Trailer wiring

I used the 6 pole because it seemed like it is designed for the type of
system used in the Audi, with separate brake, turn and running light
circuits.

if the converter box is the only solution, it would be simpler to do
that and go back to the 4 pin setup, but I did install a separate light
for the  brake lights :-)
