Re-Keying Locks

I have a pair of Type 44's. On one car, there's not one matching key.
The glovebox, each door, trunk, and ignition are all individual. I was
wondering (since I haven't had it apart yet), is it possible to remove
the lock cylinders and change the logs/shims that determine the key?
I've done this on GM's before w/o any trouble. I'm toying around with
keying all the locks to match my other audi so I just have one Audi key
on my ring.

Anyway, if anyone has any advice/experience, I'd appreciate it. Thanks--
