Damn, man, that sounds so very familiar. My '92 100CS 5-spd was totaled when I
rear ended someone who had stopped on the highway (long story, not going to go
into it). Of course, I, too, had just installed new Bilsteins, Porterfield
pads, new calipers, and new tires ($2400). :(
Make sure you show all receipts to the insCo, though they'll deny most of it as
simple maintenance.
I replaced my C4 with a C5. The C5 is nice, but I miss my C4 terribly.
