Idling/Acceleration problems on a 88 5kS

I don't know if this will help, but my 84 4ksq had this proble, it turned
out to be a short little hose around the throttle body area. It was horrible
to get to, and worse to replace. It looked fine when off, but under power
would suck flat. It also had a split in it. I replaced it, put in a new one,
and it had the smae thing happen. Put in another one, and it was fine for
the two years until I sold it for parts money for my 89 80q. Still not sure
of the intelligence of that, other than the far better underside and almost
total lack of suspension component rusting.
I hope this was some sort of help.
