efi conversion intake manifold idea

i was just looking through my type 43 bently manual ( i know i dont own one but i cant turn
down anything under $10 with audi written on it!) and saw the turbo
intake manifold setup. its quite interesting... the manifold is the same as the 4k unit jim
green uses except the TB sits facing away from the head. there is an adapter that
goes from the egg shape to (2.5"?) a circle. the type 43 didnt have an IC so its ID is the
same size as the OD on the k26... this adapter is a 180degree bend and small ID so it
might be pretty restrictive... but its a simple bolt on solution that is probably a pretty
cheap solution. should bolt on to a 4k manifold.
another item to note:
the type 43 turbo diesel has a blow off valve... i cant figure out if its blow off or bypass
but from the picture it looks like a bypass. this might be another great $0 upgrade if
you can find one.
