Typ89 seats: was Removing A/C

As for the CQ seats:
I would LOVE to toss those seats. Worst excuse for a "sport seat" ever! As
much as I like the heated option, I could care less about the power adjust.

I doubt there are any OEM seats that are direct fit and more supportive, so
for the time being, they stay. I am just not in the mood to pull apart the
interior to weld in different seat tracks just yet.

I like the feel of the Coupe GT seats - much better rib and thigh bolstering
than the CQ seats. Any possibility these came leather and/or heated but
non-power? Getting seat tracks is not an issue, I'd just saw them out of a
car at the junkyard :)

I am not really into the racing-style seats. Sure they are
super-lightweight but not what I want in a daily driver.

Another seat I enjoy is the VW Corrado VR6 sport seat, but I bet this
fitment would be more difficult than the CGT seats.

Thanks in advance!
Richard
