"between temperature" stumbling/hesitation

Hi, symtoms have been happening for the previous two weeks.
cat is 1990 90q 10v (ng)
symptoms only occurr first thing in the morning, car is parked outside, so
maybe moisture related.
When cold it drives fine, but in the interim between cold and warm, low
throttle/revs produces a hesitation (misfire?) to prevent it from stalling i
have topush the clutch and give it a few more revs (usually only occurs
between 1000-1750 rpm) and then let the clutch out again.
theories (please argue with them):
o2 sensor playing up when it is not upto temperature/ alternatively car
thinks its upto temperature prematurely and goes closed loop before the o2
sensor is giving an accurate signal.
moisture in my ignition circuit (dizzy, ht leads, plugs) which causes a
misfire when under high load (moving off) and low throttle/revs..... which
maybe dries out after 10? minutes.
thanks all.
Also:
can anyone give me the vw/audi tool number for the leads that go between the
dpr and a multimeter, and a good uk source?
thanks.
