Had a "unit goes dead at random" problem with a Blaupunkt ADC2900, and they
had to be forcefully *dragged* by the testicles, kicking and screaming
every bitter inch of the way to the workbench, where they finally did fix
this unit under warranty with exceedingly ill grace. I finally made it
crystal clear to them that if they didn't honor their warranty, they would
be seeing me in court (remember, my wife is a laywer and I get 10% off on
all my legal work.) and it would be MUCH cheaper for them just to fix the
damn thing.
I'll NEVER buy Blaupunkt again - they do NOT stand behind their crappy
products, and the paper their "warranty" is printed on is much stiffer and
scratchier that the stuff that comes on a roll.
Oh yeah, and the same problem has recurred . . . but now it is out of
warranty, so the only real use for it is to be taken to the local rifle
range and being used for target practice - and I am *SO* looking forward to
that . . .
Best Regards,
