Tihol,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I will try some more "radical" flushing as you suggest.  There are
probably some different places I can try and dislodge buildup, assuming
that is the problem.  It must be as I have pretty much ruled out
everything else - unless it is the wrong head gasket.

I had removed the thermostat to see if that was the culprit.  It was as
if the thermostat was not opening.  It may have helped a little.

No leaks in the system.  Just doesn't seem to want to flow.

It would be good to know what type of solution I might run through and
soak to breakup the built-up material which may be clogging the block
or head.
