I wanted CIS-E3 in my old 4000 but sold it before collecting all the pieces.
Here's a drawing I made of the 4k/5k fusebox.  It may help when you're
upside down under there making connections.

I tried to document my MC1 4kq installation, it's avaliable here:

A few months ago I wired a KH & MAC-07 into an '83 Urq without much
difficulty.  Yeah, the old fusebox is brittle and obnoxious, but for the
MAC-07 there were only two or three wires that went to it.  The MAC-11 has
about a half dozen connections but only a couple really need to interface
with the fuse box.  Mainly FPR ground and the fault light circut.
