cold start problems

Sounds _exactly_ like the problem that plagued my car after driving
with trailer from Boston to Boulder.  We even have almost the same
engine.  Until the car warms up, you fear red lights, right?  The trip
computer reports that you're getting 30% better mpg than you should
be?

The CO mixture was at .12; adjusting it to .8 fixed everything.
