Le Mans 2003

I heard they gave them 2 M5's. there are also several BMW 540's running around as highway patrol cars, in addition to the huge fleet of camaro Z28's here in South Carolina.
not a good place to try and run from the cops.

BMW of America gave at least one M5 to South Carolina to use as a Highway
Patrol car when they first built the plant in Spartanburg, SC.  It had full
markings.  I'll post a link if I can find a pic of it.  Of course, this was
in SC, so there were ALOT of people that didn't have a clue of what it was
before it was too late.

Living in SC all of my life, I think I qualify to make a statement like
that.... ;)
