Hi All,
Since were are having a BMW love fest this morning. Is anyone doing the BMW
UltimateDrive for Breast Cancer this year. For the past 4 years I have been
taking a day off to trash the newest BMW's in the streets of Allston, MA.
This year's event is on 7/3/03 in Allston at Herb Chambers. I'll provide
more info to those that are interested. I love telling the sales people that
I would drive a bimmer in the summer on a nice day, but nothing comes close
to Quattro in the Rain/Snow. Boston is the best place to do this because you
can get on to Storrow drive and haul serious a$$ to the Kenmore exit a mile
away. Last year I got up to 125 in a 3.0 Z3 when the traffic was very light
at 10am. It usually takes about 3 to 4 hours before the BPD figures out what
is going on and can setup traps.
