100s driveability problems

Hey everyone. Been trying to resolve a low speed lurching/surging problem in
my 93 100s 5sp non-q for a few months now, with minimal success. The problem
is the following: In the rpm range of 800-1800, there is surging and
lurching when attempting to accelerate. This is felt in all gears and it is
ESPECIALLY apparent when the car is cold. So far I have replaced the
following: new plugs(f6dtc), new fuel filter, new oxygen sensors. The o2
sensors helped a little but the problem still persists. Fuel has been and is
premium. The car hauls like a freight train on the highway or past 2500rpm
or so. I had rough idle problems earlier and the car was spitting out the
2411 code(EGR valve), so the valve is temporarily disconnected and all
vacuum lines to it plugged until I have a chance to clean it/replace it.
Since european cars didn't even have this component, I don't think it's
related to this. What else could be an issue? I have not
cleaned/decarbonized the injectors; that's actually next on my list. What
else should I do apart from that? Thank you,
Rokas
