Worst thing to happen to Porsche was the 911. They never should have kept
that designation for so long, nor that shape/look. It's been held up as the
"only" Porsche, the only TRUE Porsche, in the eyes of many.

Nobody likes any porsche that comes out -- except the non-"purists". The
bread-and-butter owners (ie, people who just buy it, and don't live for the
crest) could care less. But the people who identify their reason for living
with Porsche seem to bitch and moan when a non-911 is introduced.
