If it is indeed a Torx, then you should be able to get it with a standard
(SAE) hex key / allen wrench. I've never seen a Torx where a standard inch
hex key didn't fit nicely inside the star pattern...
I won't comment on removing the steering wheel. I understand it's pretty
dangerous - after all you're disassembling a bomb! But good luck.
