There very well could be. I had no trouble removing the airbag
however. It is secured only with two clips, and has a small electrical
connection in the back which I unhooked. I have the airbag sitting on a
shelf right now - it was very simple to remove. BTW I followed the
directions exactly as they are printed in the Bentley manual so I was
fairly certain I wasn't going to get an airbag exploding in my face.

The only place the bentley manual wasn't very good was when it comes to
removing the steering wheel itself (After the airbag has been removed).
It says to use a hex tool to remove the steering wheel when clearly, it
isn't a hex tool. I thought it was a torx at first (looks very similar
to a torx) but I now learned that it is called a "triple square" and is
a seperate tool. I ordered a set of "triple square" sockets on-line so
once they arrive I should be able to get this wheel off.

Thanks,
George
