I don't think a shop will put the R-12 in a can and give it to you.
However if you are in *real good terms* with the shop they may offer
you a credit so that when you return for a recharge it could be applied.
Most shops would prefer to do the whole job for you, rather than
bother with this back-and-forth thing.
