I'm with Steve - this is not true.  I have the Yakima Q-towers and they fit
BOTH my 1990 200 and my soon-to-be-acquired 1993 90Q. They will fit the 80
series as well. You can easily find the correct fitment by visiting
www.thule.com or www.yakima.com and using their "fit my car" wizards.

Then check prices before going to Ebay and buying what you need at a reduced
price!!
