Bushing in the crank removal

If I remember correctly, the auto bushing has a captured area for the torque
converter to engage with, so the grease trick definitely won't work.
Generally if you lock the crank you can grab it with some really big channel locks and
twist it out.  The HF slide hammer sucks, BTDT, a good quality slide hammer
(where the hooks aren't made out of cheap 'pot metal') will work well too.
