Unfortunately I have to second Carlos' comments. When I was toying with
the idea of restoring a Jaguar XKE but with a modern Jag engine, a much
more experienced Jag mechanic told me that a newer better engine would
reduce the value. And then of course there are the 'lumps' that have
Chev V8's in them. Much more reliable and cheaper, but no value
whatsoever :-)
