[urq] '83 UrQuattro - Now CIS Potential

Javad,

As you say, talk is cheap, so in time I hope to make this reality. I'll
be trying to locate local resources to do some machine work(need 40mm
valves installed) and a dyno.

In the mean time, I'm putting the Ur Quattro performance modifications
on the backburner as I decide exactly and methodically what to do.

In the mean time, I have yet to finsh the "Project GTQ" NG transplant
which started out of this kind of forum over 4 years ago and has been
pre-empted many times. I am pretty much preceeding full bore on that
now.

Following that is the reconstruction of the pearl avant, which will
incorporate some of the mods - thos that aren't going on the Ur Q.

By then I'll have a better idea of how to spend my time and $ on the
UrQ.

Ben

Now in driveway:
1 - '83 Ur Quattro - runs well and figuring what to do next.

2 - 87/88 5000 turbo quattro avants to be combined into a single near
perfect car.

4 - 4000 quattro's - '87(Project GTQ) and 2 -'85's (selling), 1- '84
Friends

'86 Quantum Synchro in running but seen better days condition - will
likely offer for sale.

'91 200 20V t q avant - Suspension repairs/upgrades underway, MRC 2.5
bar chip being installed.

'84 coupe and '87 avant occasionally grace the driveway.

Hey Ben, well, yes, I see what your'e saying, I guess my emial was
addressing the general statement containing words "easily, CIS, and
300hp" all in the same sentence.

You've got a good set up that should flow, and with the 034 SIC you'll
be able to give the motor all the fuel it needs, my only caveat to you
is the flow through the CIS meter, you haven't really addressed that
and I'm not sure there is much you can do about it. Also, what IC are
you running, if its the dual pass you'll want to go to a single pass at
the minimum.

What I would say, however, is talk is cheap (this goes for me and all
of us), get that sucker up and running and take her to a dyno, if you
can get some good wheel hp #'s running through the CIS meter (having
addressed so many of the other restrictions), then you'll be breaking
some good ground. Let me know if I can help.
