Insurance company rant.... lac

Ok, here's, the situation.  My brake pads were very low on the front of my
90q.  So rather than fit stock or pattern items i decided to buy and fit a
set of ebc greenstuff pads. i thought i better just mention it to my
insurance company as it is a 'modification' of sorts.  for the last 6 months
of my policy they want an extra £30.... i was disgusted, i have made my
vehicle safer!!! i could however go out and buy the cheapest set of tyes i
could find, increase my stopping distance and make the car less grippy, and
more likely to have an accident, but would not have to tell them.....
