All 944s had Audi based trannies. I have even set a 5kq trannie net to a 944 box and they are nearly identical except the bell housing, because of course the 944 bellhousing doesn't have a clutch inside of it. Only the 944 Turbos had the LSD, and not all of them. It was an option on the Turbo cars. I would sell you one, but actually we are in a shortage and buying up every Turbo LSD trannie we can find if they are at reasonable prices. If you run accross a surplus in your search for a diff let me know please!
