Where it is really nice is when there is "some" poor traction stuff on
the road - leaves, sand, etc., and you are trying to stop suddenly.
it's very hard to use your foot to overcome one wheel losing traction
like that.  it also lets you steer in wha would be a "locked up" panic
stop, very nice if you need it.

Your car is a bit newer than this info, but I bet it is similar.  In the
type 89 there is a tall relay in the aux. relay panel by the drivers
knees, with a 10A (red) fuse in the top.  Removing the fuse disables the
ABS *and* the light.
