Noisy Fuel Pump - No More!

Hi James:

Replace the accumulator before you worry about the pump. My pump noise
disappeared after replacing the accumulator.

To check how good the new one is, hold your finger over one of the
in/outlet holes, and blow air from your compressor into the other. Take
the air source away and listen while the compressed air comes out. It
should come out in one steady rush. On the old accumulators it came out
in jerky stages, as if the diaphram was getting stuck. This may have
actually been the noise I was mistaking for the pump.

Regards
George
