So, where does this leave us? Is there a Bosch specific O2 sensor for an
MC, another for an NG (that's the one I'd like to know about), etc.
How about a VW spec? Recently my wife had the O2 sensor on her 1999 New
Beetle 2.0 replaced by a very reputable shop (was out of town, that's why I
didn't do it) in Edmonton, AB and the sensor was about 30 bux Canadian.
I'm sure it was an original Bosch - they are official reps. They had
mentioned that a recall or more liklely a Tech service bulletin had lowered
the price from well over 100 bux. So, maybe this one will work - any
knowledge, opinions, conjecture? The funny part: the shop is out of
service for now due to fire, otherwise I'd ask them.
